Bounded solves the problem that keeps digital nomads up at night: tax compliance across countries. If you're moving between countries (Portugal for three months, then Spain for two, then Thailand for a month), you need to track whether you've crossed the tax residency threshold in any of those places. Most countries have a 183-day rule- spend more than 183 days in a year and you owe taxes there. Bounded uses location data from photos you capture to automatically track where you've been, then calculates your tax threshold status in real-time. It's got the current tax laws from worldwide jurisdictions, so you're not guessing every time you leave.
Bounce solves a smaller problem that can wreck a day. It's short-term luggage storage. You book a spot in the app, drop your bags at a partner shop or hotel, pick them up whenever. That's the whole thing.
It sounds minor until you've got an 11am checkout and a 10pm flight, or a seven-hour layover in a city you'd rather walk around than sit in an airport. Hauling a suitcase up Lisbon's hills for eight hours is its own specific misery. Their network is big enough that there's usually something within a few blocks of wherever you are.
